On behalf of the Government of the Republic of Zambia, I am pleased to welcome you to the Zambia High Commission's website.

Namibia and Zambia share many values including freedom, democracy, human rights and the rule of law.

In working towards enhancing bilateral trade and investment, and by extension, to create jobs and growth in both our countries. Together, Zambia and Namibia can travel the path to economic prosperity through expanding and strengthening bilateral trade and investment cooperation. With this, a warm invitation is extended to all investors to venture into business opportunities in Zambia, openly advertised.

On matters of mutual security, Namibia and Zambia have been long-standing partners in ensuring that our two countries remain secure as evidenced at the 19th Session of the Namibia/Zambia Joint Permanent Commission on Defence and Security which was held in the beautiful coastal town of Swakopmund, Namibia from 7th to 11th September, 2015.

Namibia and Zambia have various agreements on mutual cooperation in the areas of trade, education, food security, and being a landlocked country, Namibia gave its sister country a Dry Port in Walvis Bay in order to link Zambia to the sea. Namibians, Zambians and other international investors, Government institutions, private sector etc, are all encouraged to make use of the Zambia Dry Port for the import and export of goods to Europe and the Americas.

Zambia is fast becoming one of Africa's most acclaimed adventure and extreme sports capitals, offering a range of action activities, such as those located in the Victoria Falls area, are drawing more and more visitors from all over the globe every year. Whether its bungee jumping from the Victoria Falls Bridge, spanning the deep Batoka Gorge with the Falls as a backdrop, river rafting down the wild Zambezi or having close and personal encounters with lions, cheetahs or elephants, you are sure to find something to get the adrenaline pumping and make your trip to Zambia an even more unforgettable experience.
